(2007-03-23) Soaring To New Heights - Women That Soar

Women That Soar is going to new Heights. WTS is expanding by launching it's new website, hosting Cocktails & Connections, increasing membership and bringing on Sher Bodden as their new VP, Sales & Marketing.

(AddPR) The launch will begin with one of its signature events, “Cocktails and Connections.” Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with key business owners and professionals. Special guest, Lisbeth McNabb, former CFO for Match.com, will share tips on how to make connections in both your professional and personal life. Guests will learn how to become a part of the WTS’ growing membership and how to be an advertiser. In addition, guests will be greeted with gracious smiles, great hors d’ oeuvres and cocktails.

The company’s new growth and expansion is due to the recent move to appoint Sher Bodden, as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Ms. Bodden has a strong background in sales and marketing. Before joining WTS, she was with companies such as MCI WorldCom, Bombardier and ACS; where she was responsible for helping with the company’s marketing strategies, marketing and securing the company’s advertising and event coordination. She also is a founder and former President for the Matrix Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing social events and philanthropic opportunities to the community through volunteerism. Her primary role is to increase brand awareness and sales for WTS (Women That Soar.) Additionally, Bodden will work to provide content designed to be, personal and relevant to WTS advertisers and members.

“We are excited to have Ms. Bodden on board. She brings 15 years of sales and marketing experience to WTS. She has a very strong understanding of advertisers needs and will be an integral part of the vastly growing WTS business,” said Toni Bryant, Vice President of Operations for Women That Soar. “
