The practical multi-media converter rack conforms to IEEE802.3u 10/100Base-TX and 100Base-FX standards. It operates at distances of up to 100m and optionally supports 8.3/125, 8.7/125 or 10/125¦Ìm single-mode fibers. The reliable converter chassis provides efficient, intelligent management and monitoring of critical connections for high end applications. It features a space-saving 2U design and 14 or 16 slots for modular media converters. Each channel operates independently and new modules can be added according to specific requirements; this flexibility enables the unit to evolve with the network.
