(2007-03-14) Business Services, ETC Launches “The VA Coach” to Coach Others to Virtual Assistance Success

The VA Coach, also known as The Virtual Assistant Coach, teaches individuals how to setup and manage their own virtual assistance business and earn a great income while working from home.

(AddPR)Business Services, ETC, a successful Canadian virtual assistance company, launched a new business – The VA Coach.

The VA Coach, also known as The Virtual Assistant Coach, teaches individuals how to setup and manage their own virtual assistance business and earn a great income while working from home. The programs are designed to get each person ‘doing’ instead of just ‘learning.’ The VA Coach trains these individuals through group coaching or individual coaching.

In the group coaching program, individuals are placed into groups for ten weeks and within that ten weeks, they learn how to start and manage their new business. The group setting allows them to interact with other people who are also aspiring to become a virtual assistant. The ten week program also includes an internship with Business Services, ETC which provides hands-on learning in a successful (and very busy) virtual assistance company.

In the individual coaching programs, The VA Coach offers one-on-one coaching, in which you have direct access to the Coach for a one-hour period, and laser coaching, in which you schedule a series of thirty minute, laser-focused coaching calls. This package is generally geared toward existing virtual assistants looking to get clear and focused on a particular area of their business.

For both coaching programs, The VA Coach provides a forum that can be used for networking and learning purposes. In this forum, each person has access to a wide variety of resources and they can interact with other people who are also learning how to become a virtual assistant.

Virtual assistance is a growing industry. As more and more people move to the online business world and the land of entrepreneurship, the need for virtual help rises. These entrepreneurs can not afford to hire a full-time assistant or full-time office support so they look to the virtual world for that required help.

A virtual assistant performs administrative tasks for these entrepreneurs and may find themselves doing things like word processing, editing, proofreading, customer service, scheduling, bookkeeping or, if they have more advanced experience, they could do things like web design, blog updates, shopping cart setup and more.

Erin Blaskie, the founder and owner of both Business Services, ETC (www.bsetc.ca) and The VA Coach (www.thevacoach.com) has worked as a virtual assistant for three years for entrepreneurs from around the world. She works out of her home office in Renfrew, Ontario, Canada, but her daily work can take place in Sweden, the US, across Canada or Australia.
