(2007-03-20) New Website Helps Average Joes Find Employment

New site on the World Wide Web enables college graduates, current students, full-time housewives - and all other job-seekers to market themselves and become gainfully employed using the Internet.

(AddPR- A new site on the World Wide Web enables college graduates, current students, full-time housewives - and all other job-seekers to market themselves and become gainfully employed using the Internet. The Quintessential Job-Hunting, Small and Home Business Resources Guide and Learning Centre, found at on the World Wide Web, provides more than 1,000 listings and links to resources that can help job-seekers find employment.

The site, describes as "awesome" by Margaret Evans, a 5-star Super Wahm at wahm.com provides resources not only to information about traditional job positions available (including home data entry positions, mystery shopping positions, e.t.c.) but directs job-hunters to numerous sites at which they can submit their profiles online at low cost or no cost, network with experienced and current people in their fields as well as other members/users of the guide and get firsthand information and updates on job positions as they become available. "The Quintessential Guide offers one-stop shopping for job-seekers worldwide" said the site's creator, Paul O. Stevens (an author, publisher and computer analyst).

"It's a very well done and comprehensive site" said Ansel Gough, CEO Gough Marketing. The site is designed to offer greater depth and scope than similar career sites, Stevens said. "Unlike other job-hunting sites, the Quintessential Guide doesn't just provide links to other resources and companies; it provides helpful editorial contents, ebooks and softwares and links to even more invaluable information for job-seekers" he said. Stevens noted that the frequently updated site is also the only one to provide a comprehensive bibliography of career, small and home business-related print resources.

Stevens said he compiled the site after seeing and learning about too many people struggle to launch their business-life, often waiting for advertised job positions in the local print media. "Because I make enormous use of the Internet in my everyday activities, I realised the potential of this vast network for helping imcome-opportunities-seekers jump-start and broaden their job and source of income searches in a medium with which they've become quite comfortable.

Akins Omack, publisher of WAHSeminars.com, noted that the Quintessential Guide contains "lots of nice resources and is attractively laid out as well." Akins said the Guide has already been added to the list of sites for job-hunters to check out at wahseminars.com

Stevens explained that from the comfort of their homes and libraries, students and job-seekers can, for example, post their profiles at hundreds of companies' sites on the Internet, thus vastly expanding the number of companies to which their profiles are exposed. "They can also get available job openings in places nearby or far away, as well as obtain firsthand information of income avenues, pertaining to their interests, hobbies and expertise," Stevens said. "But you don't have to be a new job-hunter to use the Quintessential Guide effectively in your job and income sources quest."

Only a few weeks old, the Quintessential Guide already has garnered recognitions, rave-reviews and accolades from the Internet community. 3 articles from the Guide's centre are currently being featured at AssociatedContents.com, A1articles.com and IdeaMarketers.com. The Guide was dubbed "2007 Most Profitable Career, Business and Self-Empowerment Resources and Learning Guide" by Engr. Osas Osewa of HomeBizURL.com.
