Orange, CT - Dr. Energy Saver in Southern Connecticut has stimulated the state's stagnant job market with its creation of six "green" jobs in the past month, says franchise owner, Tom Casey. This hope to inspire the Conn. job market hums a similar tune to the job growth bill passed in early May after Majority Leader Denise Merrill cited its heavy importance to the state's murky economy.
Merrill (D-Mansfield, Chaplin) claims this job growth bill as necessary to igniting the growth in what has proven to be a struggling Conn. economy.
In fact, according to Merrill, the past 20 years has been a complete whirlwind for Conn. placing last out of the entire US in job creation. Since 2008, Conn. has lost six percent of its jobs, which amounts to 101,000 jobs.
With most of the last years' focus upon the job-loss, politicians and DES SoConn are trying to switch things up by creating more jobs and encouraging a sense of optimism for those seeking work in Conn.
The bill supports implementing change to entrepreneurship and innovation, infrastructure, and education.
Tom Casey was raised in the HVAC business and has since earned ten national awards and implemented the Dr. Energy Saver franchise alongside Basement Systems, Inc. owner, Larry Janesky.
