(2007-06-12) Cruise Holidays of Vancouver Moves to Kerrisdale Store-Front Location

Vancouver, BC – After six years situated in the heart of Kitsilano, Cruise Holidays of Vancouver expands to larger, store-front location in Kerrisdale.

In an effort to keep up with the increasing popularity of cruise travel, local travel agency Cruise Holidays of Vancouver purchased a larger, store-front location in Vancouver’s Kerrisdale neighbourhood in October, 2006.

“This is an exciting time for the cruise industry, with new ships being built every year and new itineraries and ports of call being introduced each season”, says Cruise Holidays of Vancouver Vice President of Operations, Blaine Lambert.

While most areas of the travel industry suffered losses in recent times due to the uncertain global-political climate, the cruise segment of that market continues to thrive. There were almost twelve million cruise passengers in 2006 and that figure is projected to increase in 2007.

“Our business is thriving and it was obvious that we were too big for our Kitsilano office, so the next logical step for us was to move to a larger location with a more customer-friendly feel. Kerrisdale is the perfect location for us”, says Lambert.

At 3,400 square feet, the new workspace can easily accommodate 18 sales personnel and six administrative/IT staff, in addition to offices for Lambert and President Denis Lim. With plans for further expansion, they intend to take over the top floor of their building - an additional 3,200 square feet of workspace - in late 2008.

“If you are in our neighbourhood, drop by for a visit and a cup of coffee. We would love to show you our new headquarters!”, says Lim.

In addition to a healthy local client base, Cruise Holidays of Vancouver operates three travel websites, each with a different niche: http://www.AlaskaCruiseExperts.com focuses on cruises and cruisetours to Alaska, British Columbia, and the Yukon; http://www.ExoticCruiseExperts.com promotes cruises and cruisetours to Europe, South America, Asia, the Caribbean, and a variety of other extraordinary destinations; and http://www.CanandianCruiseExperts.ca showcases cruises and cruisetours to all destinations in Canadian currency.

Cruise Holidays of Vancouver’s new office is located at 2979 W.41st Avenue, between MacKenzie and Carnarvon Streets and is easily accessible by foot, car, and public transit.

Cruise Holidays of Vancouver is open for business seven days a week and their three websites can be accessed anytime online at http://www.CruiseExpertsOnline.com
